Not being an avid reader in the past I have found myself lately wanting to learn instead of just scrolling, thanks for sharing your insights and keeping people like me interested !
Terrence this is the best thing I’ve read on Substack in about 2 months.
Thank you, agreed and I hope more will read and accept your challenge. I was raised Baptist and have leaned on what I was taught countless times in my adult life. One of the coolest parts about my job as a NJ nurse is meeting people from all over the world and the now dozen patients I’ve cared for over the age of 100. I could spend hours listening to a 106 year old woman describe her life and family. Ever since 2020 I’ve tried to live like my grandparents did, so I truly can’t like your article enough
🙌🏾 You seriously just made my day! Thank you so much for the read and for the kind words. I envy your opportunity to just soak up knowledge and wisdom from the elders. Especially those who come from different cultures.
I’m so happy to hear this and you’re welcome! It happens for me almost every day here and I always love when it does.
It is an incredible opportunity especially because I live in such a diverse area. I fully understand that not everyone shares the same lens and if you go by what you see on the news or social media you’re likely to fear a lot of things. I get to actually interact with so many people and I can’t ever explain why I love my really challenging job. 🙏🏼
This piece is pure and unadulterated, triple distilled, TRUTH!
I'm going to have as many people as I can read this piece.
I too believe that we've been lied about for so long. There is far too much evidence that humans did great things long ago. Things that are far greater than today's "great" things.
One simple example is The Pantheon. If you research it, you'll find that modern architects don't really know how they built it. It's a modern marvel that's more than 2,000 years old!
There are all these brilliantly crafted ancient structures that we're told were built by unskilled slave workers? Really? Structures built with intricate detail that would have taken a lifetime to master -- but it was all done by slave labor? I don't buy that for a minute.
We're 100% being lied to about the vast majority of history -- because it suits those who don't want us to learn of our past.
I've saved this piece. From this moment on, I shall read this piece every day as much as possible. Having read this piece, I feel the cure of a disease within me. I feel like the dead neurons in my brain have come alive again.
Indeed, is there any aspect of our "modern world" that is not full if lies and deception?
Who gets to decide if it’s history or myth? Why is everything not mainstream religion called a myth or theory?
I’ve read where we are the fifth (maybe sixth) civilization on earth and we only started 400,000 +/- years ago. What if we are the first humans?
I’m delving into this sorta thing myself with the Sumerian/Mesopotamian “myths”. Much evidence of what you bring forward - there were no supernatural “gods”. What if it was the Anunnaki that demanded sacrifice and blood rituals? What if they were the physical embodiment of Zeus and Titans and gods and …. And purportedly one of them was most jealous and led his people by the nose, giving them rules to live by, and was most demanding of fealty and wiping out of his enemies.
You’re right. So much we don’t know and will never know if the learners keep being called crazy and the subject called myth.
100%. The truth is certainly out there and we need to be willing to fight for it before it all disappears completely. If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend the Ancient Civilizations series on Netflix led by Graham Hancock. Certainly gets the wheels turning.
He was one of my eye-openers. There’s a ton of stuff out there once you start down this rabbithole. Some agreeing, some contradicting and all interesting.
So much of our history makes no sense. It's so frustrating to know that there are people actively working to keep it from making sense. "There cannot be only one answer to life's greatest mystery."
I’ve been listening to Eric Weinstein on a podcast, basically laying out how and why String Theory isn’t really viable as a theory of everything and has been startling funding, and the limelight, from much more important physicists and physics research. His refutations are all over YouTube. No string theorist besides Brian Greene are willing to meet him on an open debate battlefield.
I honestly never went down that rabbit hole. It became all the rage well over a decade ago and I was like “what? hell nah I’m out”… right along with the multiverse theory, steady state theory and every other unproven theory to accost those who believe in the supernatural. I don’t hear much about String Theory anymore though but that could be because I’m not in the right circles.

You wonder what else is a lie? Here’s the answer- everything!
The one God concept was developed to have control over the masses.
One God that only a selected few could communicate with.
This kept the masses from thinking they had access to the many Gods and therefore were reliant on the kings and priests to do their bidding.
You must now give your worship, obedience and assets to the royal ones!

I want the Irish Gods and Goddesses to be real and also Taweret the Egyptian Goddess.
Aye they just might be.

Bro, thank you for enlightening me.
Aye bro this means a lot!
I love how you frame the current plight as a disease. I never really thought of it like that but it’s spot on.

Thank you 🙏🏾

The victor gets to write it. Even if it’s a lie.
