Whenever you awake there's a really weird phenomenon that takes place right after you open your eyes. It's that moment where your brain has to context switch from a sort of unconscious state, to one of being fully conscious and aware. After a few seconds the brain is flooded with all types of stimulus. Things such as the light, current surroundings, current temperature, hunger, task lists and a full bladder race to mind. If it's a day such as today, you remember, "It's Thanksgiving!" However, for a brief moment, before that switch is made our minds are stuck in "the gap".
There's a lot going on in the world today and it's easy to get stuck in the gap of life. It can be difficult to pull ourselves out of it and make the context switch to remember all of the good things we've been blessed with. Today the world loves to remind us of all the things that have gone wrong. It desires to keep us in the gap, never fully lucid and aware of what's really happening. Never able to appreciate the good along with the bad.
I pray that by sending this letter, it will spur you to make the context switch and remember the good. You've made it to another day, another holiday that I hope you can spend with people you love...or at least like a little. If you're reading this, that means there's still time and opportunity for you to accomplish more amazing things, and if you haven't yet, today is the day you can start. There are people that need you. Some today and some in the future that you've never met. We're all connected.
I want to thank you for being a subscriber. It means a lot to find like-minded individuals on this home we call Earth and even more to know you take the time to read my thoughts. It's actually pretty dope.
I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving. Today we feast. Tomorrow we hunt giants!
Very well put, brother; hope you're enjoying your day...
